| Soundwave said: I hate to say it but I think this studio is being fairly disingenuous in how they're presenting this game. It just feels like they're trying to take advantage of desperation from Nintendo fans to see a "real" Switch game in order to gain views/potential financing for their game. How can you say you are building a game for a system that you have no specs for let alone a development kit? |
That's basically what a French article was saying this weekend (French studio) : they have no office anymore, apparently no publisher, we're not sure about the Switch's dev kit, the studio director has a "strange" history and the whole communication around the game is handled by Gameblog, a pretty bad French website known for its clickbait articles and other shady practices. And the studio director is a former employee of Gameblog. The article accused the studio to take advantage of the Switch to get some visibility to launch a Kickstarter later or find a publisher. We'll see.
EDIT: The article (in French) : http://www.factornews.com/actualites/seasons-of-heaven-va-t-il-l-emporter-au-paradis-42471.html
The previous studio of the current director was shutdown in early 2016, with 4 games in development which didn't find publishers, and "Seasons of Heaven" had already been showed to Nintendo, but ended up as an audio book...
