Booted up the GTS for the first time today and was immediately disappointed with what I saw. Not only are nature, moves, ability, and IVs still not visible, but now you can no longer write whatever you want in the message (namely the aforementioned details), instead you have a limited amount of preset phrases that are just useless. This only makes trading more difficult and much less reliable, no idea what the develoers were thinking here. I mean it's bad enough that hacks lessen the value of trades, but all Gamefreak is doing is making that value not even matter by hiding it.

Fruitless complaining aside, I went on the GTS because I'm looking for a Vulpix/Ninetales with it's hidden ability Snow Warning. It's a Sun exclusive and I got Moon so trading is the only way I can get it. If any of yal have got it or have Sun version thus can get it, please let me know! I've got a handful of 5 perfect IV pokemon (Mudbray, Oranguru, Mimikyu, Oricorio, Comfey, Dewpider and more soon) I'd trade for it.

Its being like that since last gen, I just use the GTS to get a female pokemon a type I want, for breeding that is, the natures, IVs and etc are always terrible in GTS. Wonder Trade is even better in that regard even tho you never know what youre gonna get. Last gen it was easy to randomly get a Froakie with Protean abitliy and Modest/Timid nature. :)

The messages? You could type in whatever last gen, as long as it wasn't inappropriate and within the character limit. People could lie of course, but I never did and from my experience most were truthful.

Cmon, no one? I now have 5IV hidden ability Timid Cutieflys w/ Moonblast, yal know you want them! ;D

Simply wasn't interested in making an account there, but yeah guess now I'll have to. It's always a mistep on the developer's part when players have to use sources outside the game itself to effectively play it.

Guess I'll have to go elsewhere as ktay suggested, but it's still pretty sad what happened to this site. Went from having well sized trading n battling threads with X/Y to literally nothing with Sun/Moon.
