Its being like that since last gen, I just use the GTS to get a female pokemon a type I want, for breeding that is, the natures, IVs and etc are always terrible in GTS. Wonder Trade is even better in that regard even tho you never know what youre gonna get. Last gen it was easy to randomly get a Froakie with Protean abitliy and Modest/Timid nature. :)
