Forums - Nintendo - The Legend of Zelda Movie Trailer Premire

I love how "Link" doesn't talk for the whole thing either.

Holy crap I REALLY want this movie.

Now what is really terrible, is that I found that video originally here where somebody posted it and in all seriousness thought that it was real. He apparently was a film student and argued with me and a few other people in favor of it's authenticity. After I pointed out that the Triforce is draw with a frikkin sharpy on Link's hand, he finally conceded and said it was just a well made fan trailer.

I lol'd when I saw the Triforce drawn with a frikin sharpie. I thought it was hilarious.

It's not. It actually looks like its engraved into the skin.

...to me, at least

ya it does look pretty realistic

Zelda looks fine, shes one of the few characters who looks like real movie material in this.

Link would be fine if he had a more palatable outfit.

Ganondorf's head looks sort of neat (not movie quality), but its way too big for his body if you notice the silhouette walking in the doorway.

Some elements of CG look well done, some look painfully amateurish.

Some of the cinemetography makes me wish they would make a real movie and some of it looks like a college student's practice movie.

All in all its probably a better trailer than what the real movie would get. Knowing today's movies I'd expect maybe a fart joke or a cheesy comedian to bring a punch line to the trailer.

Mike Meijers as Tingle.
Jim Carry as the Happy Shop salesman.
John Leguizamo as the Skull Kid.
CGI model as Midna (with same video game voice with subtitles)
Christian Haydenson as Link (At least he won't be talking).
Meryl Streep as Zelda.
Some Pro-Wrestler as Ganondorf.

Not a very convincing April fool's at all...
A Zelda movie would be great if it had the same atmosphere/production values as Pan's Labyrith...and I'd rather it was made by a Japanese director(yes in Japanese!)...

Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.

Patiently waiting for:  Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2

ign rocks I almost fall for this one.

I want Rick Astley to play Link!

It does seem very ambitious for a joke, how much does it cost to make something like this trailer?

That was awesome. Zelda and Ganondorf looked retarded, though. I wish this was real :(

P.S. Anyone find it weird "Zelda" is a normal word on Firefox? Firefox spell checks for you and apparently "Zelda" isn't a misspelled word or anything.

Zelda is a real name for females, so just like it doesn't spell check Brian or Lucy, it doesn't spellcheck Zelda either
