Didn't realize mobile games were on metacritic 



I don't think reviews really matter as much for smartphone apps. I doubt Pokemon GO was reviewed very highly as it was very bare bones, but people ate that up like crazy. You can't really review smartphone games the same way you review console/dedicated portable games.

Lol of course those weren't compared directly to Mario games as I imagine this one will. The comparison likely limits the rating imo

It will probably still do well, but I imagine there will be at least a sentence or two negatively comparing it to full Mario games in every review.



It'll be like, upper 80's if they're reviewing it "as a phone game."



Funny thing is, 95% of buyers don't even know about Metacritic
