Forums - Sales - Media create, WEEK 49 DEC 05-11, FF XV down 88%, 3DS sells 100k+, imressive hold for SMM ,Yakuza 6 sells 218k and keeps ps4 high. Miitopia bombs?.

Nice to see the 3DS gets over 100k and takes the #1 spot!

Considering the fact that Mii games don't have that much strenght outside of Tomodachi and built-in minigames, Miitopia flopping was a given. I'm sure it did profit, however, the game must have been cheap to make.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

That drop for FF is pretty much in line with their entire series.

Yeah the franchise is extremely front-loaded but this time the drop is problematic...

SE has ( trully ) overshipped it...

They shipped 1.070m copies, it's at 770k sold in the second week with a 88% drop... 300K on the shelves!

They have to slash the prices in order to sell that stock, which may imply money loss or and what if they don't sell all of the stock even with the huge price drops?

Quite a drop for FF XV

But 1M is a lock, I hope

Depends on digital. If its around 130k-150k then 1mil looks like a lock. That retail shipment isnt going to sell out anytime soon (300k left)

I thought PS4 would sell between 1.4M and 1.6M. It will likely surpass my expectations.

It already has. Its at 1.6mil (well close enough) with 3 mpre huge weeks. Itll be 1.8mil-1.9mil.

Oh yeah 3ds will be number 1 for one more year in hw! Its at 1.7mil (with that extra 100k 2ds from feb)

92,5k PS4... not bad.
FFXV drop is bigger than I thought.

Well, despite that FF drop

PS4 still selling very well, so if they are bundling the game with the OG PS4, that may give FF some legs

Right?

Really? XV looks like it may struggle to break 1m at retail in Japan.
