I made it using Game Maker Studio. It's pretty good software for making these types of games!

Oh yeah, I've got that impression. Even some pretty successful games have been made with it (Hotline Miami comes to mind). When I was a kid, I tried making stuff with it and miserably failed, but it was fun anyway. I suppose the engine has come a long way since then.

Yeah, when I first started using it... let's just say it wasn't the smoothest ride.

It's fantastic software that gets a bad reputation due to it's history, it used to be a pretty mediocre engine, now it's a fantastic option for Indie Developers making 2d games.

I've actually been using Gamemaker for about 10 years now, been working on my current one-man project on and off for four years now, I would post it here but I like to keep my professional life seperate, don't want to tarnish it with my horrific post history.

TLG actually turned out good, and people initially cared about it...

The pixel art is pretty simple, yet it remind my early internet days on playing stuff on miniclip.com, so I liked it XD
Is it a long or short game?

It's actually quite short, but packs old school challenge!

Cool I'll try this later!

That's sweet! I actually started out using GameMaker 8, then moved to Studio. I'd love to hear more about your project, but I completely understand your reasons to keep it seperate!
