Forums - Movies & TV - I'm going to give The Walking Dead Season 7 second half a fighting chance.

Let's just say that without spoilers I pretty much liked the way the first half ended, but I specially loved the way Negan handled Spencer.  But enough of that for now...

The end of the first half showed promise, and it was good seeing the group (most of them) get back together again.  But what I never bought was how broken Rick had become.  I cannot vouch for the events in the comics, and maybe something like this did/would have worked better in print.  But I would have liked it better if Rick was forced to put on a ruse towards Negan as well as some of the regular main characters to test whether or not they were commited to secretly plot against the Saviors.  The second half has to move relatively fast and justify most all of the foreshadowing that would have otherwise seemed fruitless.  I'm patience.  And what I hid as spoilers might not have been that revealing, but I wanted to be on the safe side.

All I know is that one of the major characters (can't seem to hide spoilers, so I'm using this as a way to hide it) died. Haven't had time to watch, so I guess I'll have to see.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Please send me a message as to whom it was.  Thanks.

Yeah, despite how the show may get sometimes, I'll likely stick to it to the end, even though I found only the 1st and last episodes to be the best parts of these 1st half of the 7th season. The final midseason episode sure made up for the slow pace the show went. Some real brutal stuff happened there...

I gave up on the walking dead.... story gone down the crapper.

Watch the first, 8th, 9th and last episode in each season and you usually get the best the show has to offer. Maybe 1 or 2 more episodes.

I gave up on walking dead mid last season and I struggled to watch the previous season too, show really lost its way and is struggling to create good story lines and watching the characters make the same stupid mistakes over and over again just got old.

Wouldnt coutn on it, even the comcis get pretty rough duing this part of the story
