Forums - Sony - Patch to fix WoFF blurred screen for PS4 Pro.

Some of you have asked for it.  Now, you're gonna get it:

World of Final Fantasy patch 1.02 launches January 12 in Japan

Theater Mode, PS4 Pro fix, and other amendments.

Square Enix will launch patch 1.02 for World of Final Fantasy on January 12 in Japan, the company announced.

Here are the highlights of patch 1.02:

  • Added “Theater Mode” to title menu – View the event scenes that occur during the game again at any time via Theater Mode.
  • Added PS Vita version voice data download guide – A DLC check is now done when you select “From the Beginning” or “Continue.” If you haven’t downloaded the voice DLC, the game will start following a system message.
  • Added a “Puzzle Switch” activation notification – A message is now displayed when you meet the requirements to activate a “Puzzle Switch.”
  • Added a ‘how to be rewarded notification’ when you clear the “Vestiges of Life” Intervention Quest – A hint message is displayed when you clear the “Vestiges of Life” Intervention Quest. If you have already cleared the quest and did not receive a reward, a hint message will be displayed at Sylver Park.
  • PlayStation 4 Pro support fix – Fixed a bug that blurs the screen when connected to a 2K monitor.
  • Other bug fixes

It’s worth noting that the free “Champion Summon: Sora” downloadable content launches the same day as the patch in Japan.

World of Final Fantasy is now available for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

Still a month away? This should have been fixed in a week or so.

lol

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

Yeah.  If nothing else, play all your other games, and then come back to WoFF after the patch has been release for your region.

Welcome to the future! Where the companies don't care, and we give them stuff anyways.

I know. For example this day 1 patch model which is now pretty much standard, did not solve anything and games are slowly becoming more and more broken at launch.

edit: WoFF is actually one of the rare cases in recent times where a game was polished and did not need day 1 patch but somehow SE managed to fuck up the game with a patch.

Good that I finished it before I could see Sora infesting this innocent game.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Fixed a bug that blurs the screen when connected to a 2K monitor.

What a strangly specific bug

More proof that 'day one' should be reserved for games you really want to support (or get preorder / collectors stuff).

Nice update. I've currently finished the campaign and moved onto FFXV, but will definitely get back into WoFF once I finish with FFXV.

Oh, good. I have to admit that of the two Final Fantasies released this year, World is my favorite so far. It will be nice to take its patch out of my download list instead of having it on eternal pause.
