Right now. I try to have little to no back log.
I know there will be games I want to play. I know I will want to play them right away. So a back log is just a waste of money I'm not going to play, that I can always buy later.

I wish I could do that. There's games I'm excited to play (WWE 2K16, Forza Horizon 3) and I get them, knowing they require a lot of time. Then, there are games that are critically acclaimed so I buy them, knowing that I'll enjoy them when I get to them. Then, something big catches my eye like Horizon or the Switch and suddenly, what I have doesn't seem as awesome as what's to come.

It's a perpetual cycle that never ends.

What's worse is that I buy new games and then wind up replaying Arkham Asylum or Gears of War 2. I think I've been conditioned to always want. I admire your discipline.

I started to response to this but then I started getting excited about how awesome your next thread will be, so I didn't!

Kinda agree. It's like when my parents are excited for me and what I'm doing, but then they look forward to something else I'll be doing and end up being disappointed.

Also, badgenome; nearing a decade on the site and never once lost form, major kudos!

+1 to that!
