Huge Edit: I'm an idiot. I thought it was a series but it's a movie. What a fracking epic fail.
The movie is Netflix original and has the actor from Lethal Weapon series who plays Riggs. it also has the British actress from Newsroom and Pink Panther.
It's set in a post apocalyptic world where a scientist working for the defence department is sent to a warzone in Russia (I think it's Russia), to get info on an entity that's been killing their best soldiers. The lead CIA investigator on the scene thinks it's Camo tech being used by insurgents.
The movie is not too futuristic and feels it's not set in the too distant future. There are horror, Sci-fi, action and war drama elements. parts of it remind me of Pitch Black, Mass Effect, Halo, Resistance whilst other parts remind me of The Freightners, Saving Private Ryan, walking dead and Attack on Titan.
If you looking for something new to watch, this might be worth a shot.
