I personally care a lot more about content than balance, because I am going to fight at tournaments, so I prefer larger roster sizes. It seems bizarre to me that smaller roster sizes has somehow become a positive. I guess we'll never see another game like Tobal 2 that has 200 playable characters, but I don't get why 50-60 is so rare.
