Basic Switch - 2 controllers

RUMOR: Premium Switch - 1 Switch pad/2 joycons + Pro-controller (2-3 controllers).

When was the last time a 'Premium model' meant a second controller? SNES?

You mean like that? Pretty sure it has happened a few times.

I didn't think to search for PS4 because I couldn't find any images for PS/2/3, GC, Wii, 360. I know the N64 had one but no game included.

I don't get this thread.
Is it a "hey this bundle has 2[or more] controllers who else does that"?

It`s more a `Nintendo is the best` thread...

Well sure that is evident from the OP.

I'm just trying to see "how" this time.

Having a premium bundle of multiple controllers?

It's the first time ever that every single console will have 2 controllers. Given how important local multiplayer is to console gaming I think it's a pretty big deal. The barrier to entry for 4 player FIFA for example will be a lot cheaper.

Consoles are supposed to be the arcades at home. After Asteroids and Pacman, local multiplayer is why arcade games were so popular. Other systems at the time could only manage take-turn multiplayer for the most part.

A portable system with local multiplayer hasn't been seen before excluding multiple system setup.

No system has had 2 player as standard. Except arcade machines.

Nintendo is finally updating its original design ;)

well, in that case, any console that has 2 controllers bundled would fit that requirement :/
