I love Wind Waker, I enjoyed it a lot more than Twilight Princess but wasn't as hyped for WW as I was for TP which ended up being a dissapointing, fan service OoT clone and worst 3D Zelda game I played.

But going for TP was the right choice sales wise and for the diversity overall in the series. Now a days most gamers prefer Wind Waker HD over TP HD and not just because of the visuals.

Good. TP is a lot better than Wind Weakest.

They made the right decision.

I'd take a sequel any day to one of the best games ever over a vastly inferior remake of one of the best games ever.

Considering both games sales, it was the right decision.

Diversity is indeed better, yet I never finished TP, while finishing Windwaker 3 times. TP was still better than Skyward sword. Breath of the wild better bring it, last chance for Zelda for me.
