If it only applies for hacks in multiplayer games, Im all behind this. Unfortunately the wording leaves some room to abuse the law.

Unfortunately when attempting to enforce anything that's deemed moral through legal means, it can become a mess when the spirit of the effort is exchanged for the legalism of civil justification.

But the real scenario here is, that law covers South Korea right? How about if the hacker or the programmer is actually based in China this law has no effect on him. Not unless the Chinese government will also implement a similar law.

Why, though? This seems incredibly intrusive, specially because it's the owners of the servers's job to deal with this, and to say whether they allow hacks or not. What if I use a hacks on a korean server from my home country, will they take action against that too? Will they punish the hack makers and not the hack users, which can very well not be the same individual? And holy shit, 5 years of prision for cheating in a game? Madness.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
