Forums - Nintendo - My Biggest Issue With Pokemon Sun/Moon

I know I made a Pokemon thread earlier today but I also had to get this off my chest XD okay, the biggest thing I CANNOT STAND about Sun/Moon are the amount of inaccessable areas. It's not just a small space too, it's a few larger areas. To name a couple:

-The huge golf course on Akala Island is unreachable, even in post game

-The pagoda in Malie Garden is also not able to be reached

-The lighthouse is blocked off in Akala

-The weird waterpool things in the water trial are just BARELY out of reach too

This isn't counting the massive amount of inaccessible houses throughout the region... these things as well as the 8 mysteriously empty plots of land *cough*futuregyms*cough* throughout Alola make me think that Alola will get a sequel of some sort or maybe time restraints

I remember spending a good amount of time trying to get into the golf course and lighthouse thinking there must be some sort of "secret paths" to them only to finally having google tell me they are inaccessible. :P

To me, there was no way the Golf Course was inaccessible until I Google'd it too e.e

The empty lots makes sense... Pokemon Stars?? The other things just come down to the game being the most 3D and cinematic of the franchise. I mean it's normal for games to have areas in the background that aren't accessible just for show

The problem with the Golf Course, though, is if the map didn't tease it you wouldn't even know it was there. They make a point of having 2 NPCs talk about how they're waiting to get into the golf course

This bothers you more than the framerate, the removal of PSS/Super Training, and the lack of a dolphin Pokemon? To each their own I guess!

I understand the dolphin issue v.v however, I knew the framerate would be bad. However, I'm used to bad framerates in handheld games so it doesn't bother me. PSS/Super Training was tedious x.x and I doubt that'll ever come back, unfortunately

I think the thing that bothers me the most is the beginning. Too much handholding, and the beginning was pretty slow.

Wait are you saying the PSS and Super Training are tedious!? It's definitely more tedious to interact with players and get specific EV spreads now without those features. If they don't come back I hope they're replaced with something that's works just as good if not better.

It'll probably be replaced with something that's more streamlined. Imagine the change from Pokemon Amie to Refresh
