They better not change Chrono Trigger battle system if they do that. Oh, it's SE, of course they'd do that XD.

No. I'd prefer it use the Dragon Quest XI engine because of how similar the styles are.

I mean, this area looks just like how I'd think the prison under Gaurdia castle looks.

Wow that looks great. I need to catch up on the DQ series :p

Eh, you haven't missed much. Dragon Quest isn't for everyone in the US, but if you were to play 2 games from the series it'd be 8 and now 11(Assuming the PS4 and Switch versions get localized). They're probably the most mainstream games in the series. Just a little heads up.

Man, just give me xenoblade battle system, and Id buy 30 copies of the game.

I hope Chrono Trigger is added to the Switch Virtual Console (assuming the Switch will have a Virtual Console)

Definitely yes. Aside from water reflection, luminous (ffxv engine) gives the most beautiful lightning and the best lod in ps4 so far. The animation is also top notch (i'm not sure if this is because of the engine or the programmer). I couldnt imagine what it can do on a powerful pc.

yeah If they made chronotrigger too much like dragons quest i think it would take some of the feeling out of the game...maybe they should do what they did when they did the orginal chronotrigger...blend to the two series...maybe the art style of dragon quest with open world gameplay mechanis of ff...and add some different stuff to it to make it unique.

dont use the ff15 engine, its garbage.

Care to elaborate ?

Definitely. FFXV's engine would do amazing things in a traditional turn based battle environment. Never been a fan of the cell shading/outlines of the dragon quest franchise.
