Jim Ward left Lucasarts early last month. To me he was the greatest enemy imaginable for either series. So my desire for such titles was tempered by the knowledge that they would be mangled if they went through the deadline hell that happened to Knights of the Old Republic II. We have heard it before delay a game long enough and it will eventually be good. Jim Ward lived by a different motto damn the incompletion meet the deadline or else. The result games that had fantastic potential usually ended up half finished.

I hope the insinuations between the lines are true. I know that Knight of the Old Republic III at least once had design work done for it. I provided a link to the official artwork early last month. So I am hoping the game isn't as dead as I had thought, but wouldn't it be wonderful if we finally saw either of these games on the horizon. These are the two games we have really been wanting all along. Anyone have any thoughts is it possible, or are we having our chains yanked by a jerk who is going to announce something assinine.

Im sure i remember KOTORIII beingannounced officially a few months back, somewhere on here anyway.

Would you be so kind as to point me to where Lucasarts confirmed that this title was in development. The last comment I read from the company was that they had not confirmed either title. I think you have confused the fuzzy line between rumor and reality.

I posted the link to the artwork in question on these forums. That artwork was many years old. They might have merely been concept work. The artist wasn't intentionally outing the game. Instead it was a link to a compilation of his work. Many artists do this create small online galleries for their work.

The game is rumor unless you care to provide a link to Lucasarts confirming the title.

I think the KOTOR announcement was merely a rumour, however, it is perfectly likely that BF III and KOTOR III are being worked upon, especially as Lucasarts are working with Free Radical, and that is likely to be BF III that they are working on there

There will likely be an announcement of one of these games tonight.

o yes, plesae be battlefront 3. That series is great.

I'm gonna go with Battlefront III, but I've never played either of the Knights of the Old Republic games.

Two of my favorite video game series. I really hope both these games are in development.

Battlefront 3 would be awesome, i love battlefronts 1 & 2, played the ps2 vesion yesterday. I havent played the kngihts of the old republic so i cant comment on that.

Why tonight? 

Anyway, after Force Unleashed I've given up on Star Wars games.
