They abused them with rapid fire releases of hundreds of figurines. Eventually people were going to say no more to this. Did they really expect people to buy two hundred of these things and a game every year? Ridiculous.

Yes, the games are well made with a lot of quality content. Activision should make legacy games that use all of the characters with no additional new ones needed.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

But their greed paid of because its estimated that Activision has made over 4 BILLION DOLLARS from Skylanders. They probably pushed the mass amount of figures knowing it wouldn't last.

Lego Dimensions was slated for a three year run. Next years installment is the last one. Unless they have no competition and decide to continue. Lego is THE biggest toy franchise in the world.

At least they had a plan. It's a lot better than just pulling the plug on the constomer unknowingly.

Yes, like Disney did with Disney Infinity. When they announced Disney corporate axed their gaming division they left a lot of people hanging, not just consumers but employees too. Activision needs to address this as not to burn people getting the game for X-mas.

And even thought we don't know what TT/LEGO has planned for next year, It make collectors such as myself feel better about buying the figures. This is especially true when all figures are compatible with the original starters pack which is what TT/LEGO intended.

Yes, having all the new Lego figures work with the original game was excellent planning on TT/WB part. Plus people have been collecting Lego mini figures long before Dimensions came out and have even more reason to get them now.
