Amazon e-mails me everything to do with my orders, and I even have it set to text-message me basic things. "On its way, should get there today, its been delivered" etc.

I get quite a few of those so I wouldn't really notice it. Wouldn't even have noticed it when checking my bank account. Basically if my mother hadn't told me I would've never found out.

The only thing I noticed were the 2 mails for the ingame codes. But how would I know that amazon didn't just make a mistake.

Check? You see 2-emails and you think that is strange. So the first thing you do is check your orders. Only one order = their mistake. Two orders = your mistake.

You don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Unless it`s a collectors edition (doesn`t look like it) wouldn`t the value just go down? The price of new sealed copies of games like Uncharted 4 has already gone down a fair bit from where it was originally for instance.
