I was impressed they showcased it vs a 6700k from Intel and it came out ahead.... in actual real world stuff (game+twitch streaming).

Yeaa. Hopefully they will price it aggressively cause they really need it. Maybe price the 3.4ghz model without oc at $500 and the unlocked version higher.

Yeah, £500 I can definitely agree on. not to mention that price would cripple what Intel is offering for the time being.

 

If I was a streamer/LP kind of guy, I'd definitely love the one that allows for having it all.

 

I just hope they price both the CPU and vega decently next year. If the prices are right, then I can totally see myself going AMD for both.

The way they put a short spotlight on Scorpio and 4k it screams Zen. GPU is more up in the air, as they mentioned Polaris briefly at the start, and Vega at the end. With the Vega 4k point being made, seems likely Scorpio will use the bottom of the line, base model Vega.
MS is no doubt going to blur the line between gens, if not jump right into next.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
