No where are talking about graphics i just want to point out that your an idiot for comparing those games, but I obviously see you didn't get it.

 

Both games GT5 and killzone 2 are not released yet, your comparing a thing that does not exist.  In other words you arguement divided by zero and you lost.

 

Now in future tense when they do get realesed yes they look amazing but so does GOW2 which looks better.

Oh? So console manufacturers like Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft don't depend on retail stores to sell their systems?

Personally, I think it's a little insane to claim that MGS5, FFXIV and GT6 won't appear this generation.

MGS: Had 2 installments last gen, even though it only had 1 in it's PS1 years, I doubt it'll go back to that.

FF: NES saw 3 installments, ditto SNES and again PS1, the only slump was last generation and even with the longest delay in the history of main series FF, SE still managed to pump out 2 for the PS2.

GT6: 2 for ps1, 2 for ps2 and only 1 for PS3? come on.....

Anyway, unless they sell off the company, GT6 will remain PS exclusive, MGS will probably go multiplatform (with the xbox getting a much later release) and FF will remain PS (with "nextbox" getting it's own franchise to be built this generation).

Larger storage, HDDs in all units)"  There is no true advantage of blu-ray.....First off blu ray runs slower than a DVD, second if you really need the extra space do what lost oddessy did.  Best technology laarger storage?  Have you heard of the game called 96K, its a game that 96 killobites and looks like halo 2 graphics and runs into 10 mins of game play.  No need to have large storage when you got Procedural generation .   I may trash ps3 a lot but I own one, months before I got my 360 i was a big fan of sony but since the ps3 is such a screw up why should i support them.

 Are you referring to compression? LO is a good game and all, but it could have really helped alot to not have those incredibly bad load times. Just moving to the next area would result in a load screen showing statistics on one of my characters and last anywhere from 10-15 seconds. That was one of the few 360 games I would loved an optional install for.

Maybe it didn't need Blu Ray, but it at least needed a partial install. I also realized that if I stood my 360 vertical, it really kicked the hell out of the DVD drive. It sounded like it was chewing up my game.

Only game that gave me that kind of problem though.

I was talking about that its 4 DVD's, it was kind of a joke.  The fact that load times sucks isn't because of that if anything load times would be worse if it was blu-ray.  The game uses unreal3 engine and it seems to use it just enough to get by.

Four DVDs?? A joke indeed.
