Spider-man already went full exclusive. It wouldn't surprise me if at the time Sony and Capcom made the Street Fighter V deal they also made a deal together with Marvel for MvC4.

So Polygon is reporting that this is indeed real. (no mention of platform but I still assume its not PS4 exclusive).

they are also saying no mutants... not going to lie, No Wolvie will make me question buying this.

 I had Wolvie, Cyclops and Deadpool in my regular pool of squad making. having said that, I'm excited to see Groot, Starlord, Dare Devil, Loki, new Spidey and Iron Fist.

MVC is my favorite fighting series. If true, i actually don't have a problem with the x-men and mutants missing, even though i like them. there are so many more interesting marvel characters and villains that can fill the roster. i.e. bring back venom, some black panther, luke cage, dare devil (YES PLEASE). MVC4 will be plenty fine without mutants.

It's not a money hat if the dev don't have the money to make the game and you giving them the finances allows them to make it. just like how MS fans argue RotTR wasn't a money hat because without MS money CD would have been unable to make it.

20 years of Marvel vs Capcom which started with X-men: Children of the Atom onto X-men vs Street Fighter. As long as the 'disagreement' between Fox and Disney continues... well, as above, no mutants. No FF either probably.
