There are people who love Dune (1984)???
I found the movie to be an massive disaster, and that's coming from a huge fan of director David Lynch. But there sure is potential for a good adaptation, so would be interesting if they made a new one. Hope they can hire a brilliant director and a strong team, that can pull it of.
