The second expansion for Tom Clancy’s The Division, titled Survival, will arrive tomorrow on Xbox One and PC, and will release for the PS4 on December 20^th. Survival is included in The Division Season Pass but can also be purchased separately. Additionally, Ubisoft revealed the patch notes of the update that launches alongside the expansion, as well as a new trailer.

Just picked up The Division Gold Edition 50% off from the Xbox Black Friday sale a coupe days ago.

Great game and this update looks really good. 

The game is great, agreed but it's sorely lacking in end game content. To date I've logged 32 days of play time d:

As for the new update, everyone in my social circles seems stoked for it. I personally am skeptical as I didn't buy the season pass but paid for the underground which was really disappointing for what it should've been.

They're also dropping update 1.5 which rebalances everything.... Again. Pretty much every title update requires you to rework your build or sometimes completely scrap it. We'll see how it is

Idk if I have ever experienced a game that went from incredible to pure dogshit once you hit endgame like The Division.

I hadn't prior to The Division myself.  Loved it until it was endgame time.  After a few days of that I put it down and have no interest in ever picking it back up.

So I gotta say, this update is pretty great. PS4 owners can play 1.5 now, idk what changed from it and 1.4 because I stopped playing months ago, but the loot changes seem pretty great. No longer are drops weighted to certain enemies, you can get good drops (rarely) from anyone, like a loot game should function. There are world tiers, and named bosses appear in the SP world again, plus now you actually have a use for XP after level 30 in the form of caches.

Survival is pretty amazing. Not gonna spoil anything for those who haven't played it yet but it's real fun. Hard as balls too, unless you wanna escape with the bare minimum.
