I think I'll stop there, it's not an isolated rumour on one site, it's featured on a lot of news sites and I guarantee a lot more than 0.1% of Pokemons Playerbase follow gaming news.

ANYONE who types "Pokemon Sun and Moon" into google right now gets the Switch version articles as the TOP RESULT. People will hear about this.

Saw this coming since NS announcement. This rumor kinda confirms that there will be no 3ds successor in the future

Pokemon games often get a third version (Platinum, Crystal, Yellow etc...), the article is saying Sun and Moon is getting a third version and that version is tailored to the Switch.

I am not at all in Pokemon games, can you explain me what exactly differences and how big they are, between different versions of same Pokemon games, for instance Pokemon Sun and Moon.
