I don't think most of the games on the PS1 have aged well enough to justify a PS1 mini/Classic/whatevs. Actually, I don't think the games of any Gen 5 console has aged well enough for that.

Thats true, but there must be 30 games thats still playable. Crash Bandicoot is still awesome. Same with Castlevania: SOTN.

Sony will probably see more profit adding them to PS Now. I think they'll go that way if anything.

Playable, yeah, but enjoyable, nuhuh. I tried replaying Chrash Bandicoot 3 & 2 as PS Classics on my PS3 a few months ago and it was way worse than I remembered. No thanks.

Yeah, in retrospect, it's a gen full of design/control issues and graphics that now cause ugly-shock. The transition to 3-D game worlds was rough. I was soooo blown away by that Sony launch line-up at the time though.
