I'd be making nice with them too, as someone mentioned Minecraft. Also out of Sony and MS who is less likely to come out with another console (hint it isn't Sony).

I was just jerking around.  I seem to remember one or both saying nice things about Breath of the Wild.  It's nice to see them be civil.  I can understand the sour grapes though between Sony and Nintendo.  Sony pretty much kicked them off the throne (where marketshare is concerned).

I couldn't see them on Switch the Scorpio's lifespan will likely surpass that of the Switch but after that ... I'm not sure I see Microsoft staying in the console space. Who knows maybe Nintendo is actually trying to foster good relations with potential 3rd party instead of being ass-hats to them like in the 80's and 90's.   That said in the early 80's they kind of needed to be ass-hats to help save the industry.

That's nice of them, not sure it means much of anything though in terms of a future relationship between MS and Nintendo.
