Lol. Zelda has been released on holidays the past 13 years, outside of Hyrule Warriors. Even SS was held until holiday in 2011.

 

But it is ok if you want to believe this company cares for their fans even when the leak has already prove the Wii U version is in held until the Switch version os released. Just like 10 years ago with TP.

I like Splatoon and 3D Mario over Zelda, so it's not a big deal to me. The Aonuma Zelda games are overrated IMO (at least the last two) and they take forever to come out on top of that.

Though I do wonder if having all these Wii U ports early in the life cycle is smart. It does indicate IMO that Nintendo's goal is to get 3DS owners to buy a Switch because they haven't played any of these games.

Its smart if we know fact that there is only 13m owners, Nintendo with ports of best Wii U games (they are all very heavy hitters) is basically aiming everyone who didn't had Wii U not just 3DS owners, but of course there will be new games also, new 3D Mario and Zelda are new games, but there will other new game also. But I agree that bundled Splatoon is mostly aiming at 3DS owners, espacily Japan 3DS owners.
