The classic JRPG focused on static combat and super linear structure is dead, at least when it comes to AAA RPG. SE is trying to catch up western RPGs which are stealing the show right now with dynamic combat, rich build character options, and less linear structure.

I agree, but Elijah Wood is a gamer and even he was obviously confused by the game. Also the gamer guy who is always with Conan didnt seem to point out anything great about this game. He is supposed to be the guy who defends the games.

Still find this logic funny, FF13 which by many fans is considered one of the worse FF games still outsold all those 'western' RPGs. Why is SE playing catchup when it still has the biggest RPG franchise in the world? They should be playing to their strengths, not copying other games which aren't as popular and/or sold fewer.

That's stupid lol,  you can sell it for twice the price you paid for it on eBay.
