Nothing's cheaper than something free.

F1 vs FOTA, when too much power is in couple peoples hands.

Though fighting games are definitely not my thing I suspect this will probably be one of the most successful games of 2007 limited only by the install base. Pretty much 100% of every kid that owns a Wii will want it and I'm sure the vast majority of even casual gamers (senior citizen bowlers excluded) will be interested as well.

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

I can't seem to access the site. Is it down for everyone else as well?

A letter will get more notice than an email. Try writing and sending a letter (with the stamp and the postbox).

It'll be much quicker but they'll actually pay some attention.

It will definitely sell more then melee. Why? Wii´s unernase will be far bigger than GC´s. Smash is the 2nd most anticipated game of 2007. 3rd party characters means a lot of old non Nintendo owners interested. ( I don´t think Sakurai agreed to put Snake just because Kojima begged, he knew it would be a good sellling move) Online mode will help, and if the reviews are right, Nintendo is starting pretty well with it´s online plans. A price cut for classic controllers could be made, or a bundle with game ( some sort of collectors edition could be cool). Etc.etc.etc. As one of the other guys said, kids love smash, i can´t tell coz my lil bro and his friends always ask to play that. And casuals, trust me, they end up liking the game, a lot. I´ve seen some non-gamers friends turn in pretty good smashers, and are considering a Wii just for it.

it is such a great pick up and play game. It's simple enough that you can get the hang of it in 5 minutes and have great four player battles. Exactly the kind of thing that will succeed on the Wii. Shame about the controls though...

This news sucks... I want a trailer / New entries announced / Release date... Anyone of those!
