I had said before I felt like stuff like this was only going to actually help Trump gain more supporters and was part of the reason he won, which is why it shouldn't be the option of resorting to violence. If someone gets attacked like that literally the last thing I expect them to do is reconsider what they were originally thinking, instead they'll probably be even more hateful in retaliation and plant their feet firmer in what they believe rather than being open to listening to anyone else again. I realize it's not anyone's responsibility necessarily to explain or try to talk someone out of whatever their beliefs are but stuff like this will only fuel others and push them further away instead of being allies. 

Also at the time, as I think I didn't notice it as I was commenting on something else, I never realized how problematic this title is because there was no reason to specifically call them out as "black thugs" when if you wanted to call them thugs you could have just simply said thugs, it's not like their race in specific had anything to do with it.

When you vote to put a racist, bigoted, misogynist, sexist, homophobic monster into offense that was endorsed by the KKK... you lost the ability to say you're innocent. You are, as far as I'm concerned, a criminal of social progress, peace, love and unity and anything that comes your way, you brought on yourself.

Having said that... I personally don't condone beating people up. You can't beat bigotry with violence. 

This absolutely horrendous, but Iwouldnt internalise it the way you have. This isnt a bunch of decent liberals people who suddenly turnt crazy, we're likely talking crime affiliated kids who probably didn't vote to begin with. They're exploiting a situation (if it is trump related) and knowing the state of gang crime/poverty in Chicago I don't think their parents are in a much fitter state of intelligence.

Hope the trash get caught and hope Democrats don't play blind as that itself is part of the issue.

lack of parents for many youth(not just blacks) is causing many issues. It is obvious how misguided millenials/generation Z is.

If merely voting for a racist homophobic is already such a crime in in your opinion - then how harsh must your judgement be when it comes to all those dozens of millions of americans who voted for a government that is responsible for the deaths of hundredthousands of people around the globe? Is simple death penalty even enough for people who voted for Obama?
