#37: Many people tried to preorder the Wii version, but they never got the game...

- Wii version wasn't cancelled, since it never began development... And those who "tried" to preorder the game knew it.

- Those people tried to preorder the Wii version mainly at Gamestop.

- The game never launched for Wii... it had been published some generations before.

- This game was published in a 30 games compilation that was published last year, and its characters have made cameos for some games (a fighting game, an indie plaformer...)

- This NES game is famous for its difficulty and its infamous vehicle sections.

37- Contra 3


I think it's safe to assume Contra 3 is the best run and gun game of all time. It gets everything right: cool visuals, badass soundtrack, nonstop action, a huge variety of powerups and excellent bosses.

Hint for 34: The sequel to a game that freshened up a certain Nintendo series.
