I won't have much time in the next days, so I hope this hints will help me to advance:

Game #12

Hint 1: In this sequel your goal is to make sure that the event you were trying to avoid in the previous game happens. In both games your goal is the same (save the World), but your information varies. In this sequel you finally visit places that you had only heard before, including a lost continent named after a group of Primates.
Hint 2: The previous game in this handheld RPG franchise has already appeared in my list.

Hint 3: The franchise has had 3 entries at the moment.

Hint 4: Yo may remember this game advertisement, it featured Edvard Grieg's most famous song

Hint 5: (Can't be so difficult!) The developers of this JRPG are also famous for their work in sports game featuring a famous italian character.

Game #9:

Hint 1: This RTS may be too obscure, specially outside some European countries, so I'll give abundant information: It was developed by a Romanian studio, that would later develop two entries in the Tropico franchise. The title of this game varies from country to country: In Spain the subtitle made reference to the Latin name of the country, in Italy to Carthage, in the UK, both to the celts and Carthage, while in the US it made reference to the Roman Empire. Those four civilizations (Iberian, Celts (or Gauls), Carthage and Romans) were playable in the game.

Hint 2: The game is set in the Punic Wars and was launched in 2003. It's the second game in its franchise, and its predecessor was set in the Gaul Wars.

Game #7:

Hint 1: Not sure if it's the longest, but this adventure is a great journey (and no, the game is not Journey).

Hint 2: Two worlds are going to collide in this Point & Click adventure: one is futuristic and tech-heavy while the other is fantastic and based on magic.

Game #5:

Hint 1: This game, second in its franchise, would popularize a certain strategy sub-genre that has been mastered by certain swedish publisher. Paradoxically, this publisher's stocks are listed in New York.

Game #4:

Hint 1: Except if something very extrange happens, this game will be ranked 1st in the aggregated list.

Game #3:

Hint 1: Mario Kart 8, in the 15th place of my list, is my favourite Mario Kart game. But it's not my favourite racing game. If you've been following my list, it should be clear which game is this.

Game #2:

Hint 1: Raccoon-dogs can fly and shift into statues. Normal raccoons can only fly.

Game #1:

Hint 1: I'll let you guess

#5: Correct developer and genre, but it's a previous game.

#4: Of course.

#1: Better luck next time

#10: This game features a warping-item originally from another game completely.

Hint 2: This item even has the same six-toned sound as it did in the older game.

#10 Final Fantasy VIII

I'm not going to talk about this game at length here since I already wrote an entire article about it recently, so go check that out if you're interested. In short, this is in my opinion the second best game in this series.
