I'm trying again with #18:

# 18 An spin-off of this game has been probably the most commented game this year. Hint 2:Really? Consider that the game is a spin-off of the franchise, and this is the first game in that franchise. Other than that, the hint is really clear... Hint 3: Again: What has been the most commented game this year??? To the point of it being the most searched term in Google this 2016 worldwide... Yes, that game... Then consider the game that started everything, some decades ago...

21 – Super Smash Bros 64

I know, I know, first Yoshi’s Story, now SSB64 23 steps over SSBWiiU, but my list is highly based in my personal experience (trying to do an objective list would be unfair, since I haven’t played enough a lot of master pieces, so I prefer to do a highly subjective one), and SSB64 is the version I’ve had best moments with.

Although the number of characters is low for today standards, and it doesn’t have so much game modes, I enjoyed it’s single player immensely: I prefer it’s story mode to the WiiU one, and the platforming sections were entertaining. Also, I hadn’t have contact with some of the Nintendo characters that appeared in the game (like Ness and Samus), and discovering them was awesome, while the ones I already knew were all very charismatic.

And multiplayer battles were addictive. I spent hundreds of hours playing with 4 players with friends, and we continued doing so many years after the game had released. The game is accessible but versatile enough to keep deepening on it, and those are, in my opinion, the keys to a great couch multiplayer.

Since nobody's guessed my #18 yet, here's the hint again:

A PS1 JRPG originally released on the Sega Saturn about 2 years earlier. Contains some rather weak voice acting.

And here's the hint for #17:

Although not the first game of its kind, this game popularized an entire genre of video games and paved the way for developers such as Blizzard and Cavedog Entertainment to create their own attempts at the genre.

Oh yeah, I already had an idea about this one. Almost forgot. I think you're talking about Pokemon GO then.

So, Pokemon Red/Blue?

Yes

20 – Pikmin 3

Although it’s traditionally considered a RTS, I think that Pikmin I find it difficult to classify Pikmin as one. Of course it has features of RTS, but exploration and puzzle solving are so important in this game that I think that Pikmin is truly unique; at least I can’t find a comparable game.

That said, Pikmin 3 is my first Pikmin, and I love it. Its levels are beautiful, exploring those while finding fruits is addicting and I think that the way the game balances a demanding time management system with giving the player freedom to explore is really well made. The use of the map to manage the three characters simultaneously is cleverly implemented (an example of good use of the WiiU gamepad) making multitasking the way to succeed in the game. The game also has a multiplayer mode that can be really funny, with cooperative and competitive missions. The only fault I find to the game is that the number of areas in the story mode is low (just 5), although exploring them in order to find all its secrets is enough to grant many hours of fun.

17: Dune II?

Right developer, wrong game and franchise.

Hint 21 - This story tells of a young man in a mercenary group, who must quickly fill up some shoes to take lead. He and his merry band take on a small job, which eventually becomes much bigger than he expected. Entering a battle between man and beast, this hero with blue hair and a golden blade will rise to end the true evil king who started this all.

Hint 20 - It seems I've fallen far down and can't get back up. I guess I'll just take the long way and make some weird friends along the way. Or, you could just kill them all...

Hint 19 - Jump into the crazy brawl, grab whatever you can and throw it at your enemies, and be sure to grab those stones. They'll make you POWERFUL! It also has an ethnically diverse cast of characters, from samurai, to ninja, to a cowboy, to even a... native american character?

Hint 18 - Move to the beat of the music and smash on those steps, but not the usual up, down, left, right ones...

Though I already guessed those games sometime before, could have been with you, if so, I'm wrong.
