For me the walking dead season 01 is well overhated and don't deserve goty in 2012 (I think max payne 3 or Journey deserved) and a game that I love and many dont like is Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots, Many people complain about the game Be linear and have many cutscene but I think the game is really fantastic.

I don't see the appeal in Minecraft at all. To me it's one of the most boring game ever made.

I've never really liked any of the Halo games. I just don't find shooting in that game satisfying at all. Every enemy just feels like a bullet sponge.

I can get behind that. Skyrim has terrible combat after a while I found myself bored out of my mind. Fallout isn't much better and gathering tons of shit gets very tedious.

My controversial pick goes to the Last of Us. Perhaps I bought into the hype a lil, but I ended up buying the game, hearing a lot of praise on it, including the person at the counter who scanned my item. I played it, and.... thought it was okay. The visuals are well done, the concept with the cordyceps was good, and the story was really ground compared to something like Resident Evil, but by the end I didn't like it that much, and eventually came to dislike it from the ending. Parts felt predictable and cliche, so moments that likely should have been sad didn't quite feel that way, since I saw it coming. I know it was well loved by many, but it didn't really do it for me. I thought Tell Tales Walking Dead Game: Season 1 was a better game that just nailed what TLoU tried to do.

Yes but no other game in its subgenre (openworld sandbox) gets away with the kinda crap it does with its wonky physics, mediocre shooting, poor driving, incredibly repetitive missions, lifeless world, bad writing, and its inability to let missions truly realize that sandbox feel.  I mean, in GTAV they had a fantastic oportunity to have really interesting, replayable dynamic missions with their heists.  But instead you have to choose from three different strict plans that you can't deviate from because screw all that freedom crap - you know, the very foundational principle of the sandbox genre?

And the problem is people call out all the sandboxes ever for this but not GTA.  My issue isn't with quality strictly speaking, it's with the fact that GTA routinely gets praised as one of the best games of the gen or best games evar when a new one releases.  It's not.  And that's why it's overrated.

I think that every person like the first zelda they play the best. As such, I prefer wind waker to ocarina of time. Plus I cannot stand the pre-rendered interiors in OOT.

Wind Waker is mediocre sailing is boring, Tetra being Zelda was extremely obvious since OOT did it first, Triforce Shard quest is the biggest time sink ever and not fun at all, Dungeons were very dull with little to no atmosphere and each using a gimmick of a person along the way was even worse, game is also way too easy its really babies first zelda

This is coming from someone who got WW on launch day and a gamecube for that reason I was super upset. Majoras Mask and OOT are 100x better in every way.

Last of Us I dont even consider a game it's a overpriced movie with an overbundence of cutscenes and scripted BS. It's an interactive film and a terrible one at that

I can't stand FFVI. It's just so fucking boring and linear. Everyone's raving about Kefka and that he's such a great villain, that's such bullshit. He does one thing at the start that's a bit evil and then he vanishes for the rest of the game. The gameplay brings nothing new to the table, the characters are a joke. It tries to be so edgy, no wonder 90s kids loved it and are still raving about it today.
I totally see why other people like the game, after all most people love boring boring dramas.

The only chance this gets replaced as the worst FF in history is FFXV.

The witcher 3. Just couldn't get into that game at all and I tried twice.
