Its a bit early have to wait another couple of days. Well what do you guys expect for the week having just ended. I tip a huge week for PS3 with the launch of Gt 5 Prologue would of resulted in over half a million copies of the game being sold in first week in Others.  PS3 console sales figures would of gone from just over 200k previous week up to 300k in worldwide sales due to launch of GT 5 prologue. As for the other consoles, nintendo Wii would be around 300k for the week. XBox 360 around 170k for the week. Nintendo DS around 380k for the week. PSP around 240k for the week.

BTW I know sales figures could be a bit off but its just a prediction. GT 5 Prologue being a huge exclusive game on PS3 is expected to sell over a million units and increase consoles significantly upon its launch.

Edit: Predictions adjusted due to finding out GT 5: Prologue was only launched in others March 23rd. GT 5 P will be launched in the USA on April 15th. 

Wii first in Europe if it's on a high shipment, PS3 a close second. This will be reversed if the Wii is on a low shipment. The 360 will trail behind.

In America, the Wii will win. Has GT5P hit the USA? If not, the 360 will beat the PS3 there.

In Japan everything will fail except the Wii.

I will fully admit that GT5P sales will be good, but cmon the game isn't going to sell to a third of all PS3 owners in the first week.

I think you are overestimating the influence of GT5P. i think there will be a substantial increase in PS3 sales from last week, but I don't think it will be as big of a difference as you are predicting.

I am a very optimistic person indeed. 350 to 400k worldwide would maybe be a bit closer to the mark. hell i am hoping for huge numbers.

If GT5:P was released worldwide this week, I could maybe agree with the 1.5 mil, but it won't happen in others alone.  Also I would say 300k consoles is probably the max, no where near 400k-500k.

I thought its launched in US and Others at same time. I am from Australia. Has GT 5 Prologue launched in the USA yet?

Oh no Rock, America doesn't get GT5P until 4/15. This is one time you guys outside of America get a nicer release date than us ^^.

I now understand your predictions though, if it was releasing in both at the same time you might see that. I suggest just editing your predictions.
