Voted Hillary over Trump. I'm not much a Trump fan. I dislike Hillary too, but I can't bring myself to vote for someone as terrible a human being as Trump

Why even vote if you still dislike your own decision in this case ?

This bipartism system the US have is probably one of the most hypocritical thing coming from a country which loves to showcase ''democracy'' on the face of everybody.

Preach it man

Voting for the lesser evil is always better than not voting. Because not voting means your vote goes to the biggest evil automatically.

But you're still voting for evil because you're being push back by a even more evil candidate which is pretty dumb 'cause the end result is bad either way. At this point, I consider a vote like this as having the same value with someone who's not casting his vote 'cause he knows that he doesn't want to particpate in this bullshit festival.

I think you express a legitimate concern that most Americans share (USA has one of the lowest voter turn out in a Western Most Developed Nation). One way to get your voice heard first is to vote in the midterm elections and contact and support your local governor or mayor to get your voice heard to the national level.

So you're telling me that if you are presented with two bad choices you would always go for the worst to..... protest the system somehow?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

So this is the year I finally could have voted if I wanted to (I turned 18 back in January, so i'll already be 19 in another 2 months), but I just really don't feel like it since I don't care much for politics, I never have cared much for politics.

If I did vote I probably would have voted for Trump though, if anything just to make fun of/make those people angry/prove wrong people who think that voting Trump means you're automatically racist or something like that, which is not true at all and is a horrible type of attitude to have just because someone has a different opinion.

You can vote for local governors and state propoitions too though. And if you feel really strongly about one party's main ideas,

remember the Supreme court nominations are appointed by the US president.

But please dont troll vote for someone to make some of the loud opposition mad. If you really want to vote for that candidate then go for it.

Well it's not 'troll voting', people can use their vote for any reason they want to. If Hillary had the same favorite color as someone they could vote for her because of that. If Trump had the same favorite flavor of ice cream as someone they could vote for him because of that too, or for anything they could think of. Just because it might not be a reason you agree with or see as a 'legit' and see it as a silly reason doesn't mean they can't vote just cause of something like that, they were given a right to vote and henceforth can do whatever they want with said vote. It's up to whatever reason they deem worthy enough, even if it were to sound silly as fuck to somebody else.

I'm not even saying i'm doing it "just to make the opposition mad", I'm just simply saying that from what i've seen from this election is that a lot of people will see anyone who supports Trump and immediately label them as a "racist piece of shit" or such like that, when that's not true at all because all they had was a different opinion, that's why there are 2 candidates in the first place, so people have choice. Don't get me wrong, I know it goes both ways and such and i'm sure Hillary supporters have been called a bunch of things as well, it just seems like Trump supporters have gotten the most of it. People could be voting for any candidate for any multitude of reasons, it doesn't automatically make them anything just because they have their own viewpoint on something, that's normal for a human being to have their own view and opinion on something. I said I would have voted for Trump just to disprove that horrible type of attitude of "Well voting for him automatically means you're racist", since I am not a racist person, and I wouldn't care if anybody tried to call me that since I know who I am and I know it's not true.

It's too late for me to vote anyway, I never sent in the thing to register, because like I said I didn't really care for voting, it's just something I thought of every once in a while.

In either case, it's unfortunate both candidates failed to motivate you to vote but you aren't alone as (in fact majority don't usually vote anymore). You can always vote during midterms and local elections in hopes that those candidate can influence the national level in the future, though.

Yeah I don't vote.. gave it up. The kind of Republic I expect will not happen here again.

Didn't feel good doing it, but voted Clinton.

Trump is a piece of shit, a terrible businessman, and most importantly a shitty human being so no thanks.

and Hillary has the same terrible characteritistics

its alien vs predator all over again

''Whoever wins,we lose''

Idk about that. Sure, Hillary is slimy, a liar, and about as true a politician as you can get, but she aint got shit on Trump.

Couldn't agree more. We have Hillary's twin sister who got separated at birth here in the UK.
