I don't know if this means they will make their games catter more to the Nintendo userbase, or they are just covering their asses when they start to complain about their games not fitting the Switch, specially if the userbase doesn't grow fast enough.

On one hand, this sounds like "we're going to wait and see how popular this thing becomes before we really get behind it," indicating a lack of faith, but on the other, Japanese publishers are often very slow at supporting new hardware. They also, oddly, really like supporting one platform at a time, then porting to other platforms later. This might just be business as usual.

While I doubt you'll see ports of certain franchises like Resident Evil on the Switch, others like Monster Hunter are perfect for the Switch.

And I don't know if they still have an exclusive deal with Sony on consoles, but a portable version of SFV or whatever version they've got coming down the pipeline would be awesome to have on the Switch.

or in other words, let's wait until the market is big enough first
