Instead I played more DC VR (very addictive) and some more Vev: Vivo ex Viva. Also pretty addictive for $5 despite its simplistic graphics. Fun to fly around the levels, quite challenging too, trying to unlock the rest of the levels.

Holy crap, that's horrible.

Meanwhile, I actual had a dream about PSVR last night. Maybe I need to quit playing for a while?

I wasn't planning to, since it's the wrong Star Trek. But I'll probably cave in anyway.
Maybe it will let me punch Kirk and throw him out the airlock.

Depends, have you started seeing things while awake yet...

I finished Space rift: Episode 1 last night. It's pretty good despite being very basic. I'm interested in the next episode, just hope it will be priced fairly. Flying around in the ship and mining is very cool. The last bit had a classic Descent vibe, it would be nice to play that game again in VR.

I'm playing too much DriveClub VR, rank 31 atm on the leaderboards. I keep seeing the same names on the scoreboards, the active community isn't very big unfortunately. Community challenges are pretty much unavailable, not enough participants to promote challenges to the community section. It doesn't look good for the chances of an actual pro patch :/

Vev: Vivo ex Viva is hard! First of all, I have no clue how you could even get anywhere without setting the turn rate to max on the spinal fluid level. Attacks are relentless and you better be completely resistent to motion sickness to play the harder levels, constantly going at max speed. A lot depends on chance too, you have 15 minutes max, while your energy constantly runs out. The levels are procedurally generated. If you get into a sparse section without much food you're likely to go backwards or even run out. It's addicive though.

Wow an actual psvr review http://www.playstationcountry.com/viva-ex-vivo-vr-edition-psvr-review/

Anyone else still playing VR games?

I'm almost throught Eagle Flight's campaign mode, although it will still take a lot of time to get enough stars to unlock all the extra challenges. I made a small compilation of some of the harder time trial challenges.

Hit one thing and back to the start, very addictive and a great rush to get it right. The fights are getting hectic too. Fighting off 12 enemies at the time that can lay 'mines' in mid air, shoot projectiles and shield themselves, chaos.

Here's some footage of the last level of Thumper, the boss and the crazy mindfuck that comes after

Preview, not sped up...

I've been working but I'm off Monday-Weds. I plan on making up for lost time! Of course, I have a lot of non VR content, too.

There was some free VR stuff on PSN so I downloaded it (Gary the Gull, some mini game collection, and a game called World War Toons or something). I don't have the highest hopes but they're free so probably worth a minute or two.

It's funny, I haven't been posting much in this thread, but I've been playing a ton of VR.

I ended up buying Job Simulator and I recommend it. it's very much a "look at how much fun it is to mess around with stuff in VR" game, but the writing is really funny and the levels are really well thought out. Fantastic first VR game too.

I got Gary the Gull and didn't like it very much, I prefer Invasion and especially Allumette.

O! My Genesis VR is a cute little RTS game. It's not actually finished yet but it has potential and it's only $2.99.

I really like Sports Bar VR with air hockey being my surprise standout. I like that the game lets to move freely through the game room and change games on the fly. I haven't actually tried the multiplayer yet, but I bet it makes it even better.

Those are the ones I've played most recently (downloading Holoball as I write this)

This is all of the PSVR games I have so far.
Holoball
Pixel Gear
Job Simulator
O! My Genesis VR
Sports Bar VR
Rigs
Tethered
Thumper
VR Worlds
Batman VR
Driveclub VR
Waywayrd Sky
World War Toons
Allumette
Invasion
Playroom VR

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

PSVR was a huge success at my house on thanksgiving. everyone was playing it, specifically london heist. I fucking love PSVR. i showed it to my friends and they all had their minds blown. I'm so excited for more games to come out. I especially can't wait for that gun peripheral that is coming out with farpoint (and i can't wait for farpoint itself)

Pinball comes to PSVR nov 29th
