Forums - Nintendo - Image & Form Says Nintendo Isn’t “Skimping On Power” With Nintendo Switch!

Probably a little more power than the Wii U but easier to port games. That being said I'm done with spec threads until system is released or Nintendo actually releases them.

Gotta love the no-news news.

Any indie dev is going to highly praise the NS, after all they've done very well on WiiU and have been embraced much better by Nintendo.

That's because they're the future third parties. Theyre gonna take over when the big devs cant afford all these big games.

what was the messages in trailer ?
Play everywhere...
Play like you want... With GRID pad & Joy-Con, gamepad mode, or pad pro...
Play like xboxone or ps4... No Wiimote, no asymétric gameplay...

Trailer say " hey gamers ! We're back with what you want "
No Child, no many... But e-sport and young adult...

So if they say "come on gamers" , Switch must have good graphics, at least xboxone... So I repeat, dock is not just a dock....

Actually it's expected that will have around 3x more time power than Wii U.

The question was about the handheld portion of the switch and whether games run much worse on it. How from that do you come to the conclusion of more power in the dock. I'd say it more points to no real power boost from the dock.

I believe it will be on par with the XboxOne. Or at least very close.

So has estimated how much you power the switch? Connected / disconnected?

If its as powerfull as Nvidia made it to be running at full speed (docked) then 750 Gflops (PS4 is 1840+ Gflops, PS4pro 4200+ Gflops)

It might be abit lower than that, because of the tablet size and how effective cooling is.

When its not docked? probably half of that.. maybe around 350 Gflops?

Correction: you expect it will be 3 times as powerful as Wii U.

Unless of course you have a comprehensive list of citations from experts forecasting it to be 3 times as strong as Wii U?
