Humanity is by it's very nature a social creature. Capitalism forces people to enter into competition with one another and this is a very important cause of racism. I'm not saying racism will one day magically dissapear off the face of the earth, but we should continue to fight it day in and day out. And of course we promote equality, who could oppose that?

And ehh, what leftist group attacks peoples sexual preferences (exept some idiots in the KKE)?

I meant persecution of sexual preferences ...

Capitalism does not cause racism, if anything it's that racism that fuels capitalism. It's not the Ashkenazi Jews or the East Asians fault that their born to have better potential ...

And your promotion of equality is at odds in between having diverse religions and sexual preferences too (quite a few churches out there who can't tolerate LGBT) or other cultural conflicts too ...

What? Not only is your first statement quite racist and untrue to begin withn your second one is simply preposterous. We promote economic equality, not cultural equality.

And yes, capitalism DOES cause racism by a large degree.

Definitely Not. Also I disagree with fatslob, racism is always an issue.

Not really, but I sure would avoid someone who votes for Trump.

Trump is a terrible person, he's not taking any of this seriously, and he stands for racism, xenophobia, and has an active problem with social progression.

So yes, if someone supports him, it's fair to assume they are in support of things like racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of hate speech. If someone endorses things like 'intimidating black people at the polls' and 'having one of their 2nd amendment folks taking care of his opponent', then that IS terrorism. That is hate speech.

And if you support any of that, then you are, by definition, a bad person. If you support that, you should consider a vasectomy.

I feel he's less xenophobic and more intensely interested in fixing internal America rather than being a bleeding heart for the rest of the world.

As far as racist is concerned, I disagree. I haven't seen him single out anyone solely based on race where it was not already made the topic at hand. Wanting to have illegal aliens deported isn't racist; it's enforcing the law. Illegal aliens do not include: People with greencards, people born in the US, people who have gone through the proper channels to become an American citizen, people with valid Visas.

I disagree, except with the immgration part.  I feel he's IS xenophobic and more intensely interested in his own benefits rather than fixing internal America. As far as concern non of the candidates are "intensely interested in fixing internal America".  I will call you a trump supporter, from now on. =P

To be honest, i can see his case. I wouldn't want to be friends with Trump supporters. That is more because of what it says about the friend rather than Trump. It's just not the kind of person i would want to relate to.

The thing about friends is that you get to pick them.

I'm talking about real friends, not like online program friend. With those i don't really care if they are pro Trump or not. It's a more impersonal relationship.

I used to think that the 'mythical trump supporter' was either a rarity, or a parody. As in, nobody was actually dumb enough to support him.

I was wrong. This thread shows there ARE people dumb enough to support such a blatantly terrible person.

and I got a moderation warning for calling you out on it.

It's a sad, sad day to be an intellectual. I hope your country burns for this.

Let's say it is in fact "wrong" to be a Trump supporter. What is the next best course of action for making sure the country and it's people move in the right direction?

Is it to unfriend them in every possible public arena (Forums, FB, Twitter, in-person) or would it be to somehow find a way to keep the bridges of communication live despite differences. I believe in the latter and you seem to believe in the former, which is fine, but correct me if I'm wrong on that. And if I'm right on that count, can you explain how alienation will lead to more progress than non-alienation?

Same for anyone else who wants to alienate those members of society. Is it an effective approach to your end-game?

You could call me that, except I'm not. I'm more of a "anyone but Hillary" person. The DNC have us her when we wanted Bernie, so I'd rather see her rot in jail than lead from a desk.

It should be about what kind of person they are to me - hence they're my friend. They may be bigoted or hold views I disagree with, but if the're there for me what do I care.

For me, it's not just about how they treat me though, I care about how they treat others.

Can you explain why though? Curious about your perspective.

I unfriended facebook about 4 years ago.  Never missed it since.
