inFAMOUS: Second Son Absorbs 3.6GB PS4 Pro Patch

Even a couple of years after its original release, inFAMOUS: Second Son remains one of the prettier titles on the PlayStation 4. And it's about to get that little bit more beautiful, as Sucker Punch has just released the title's promised PlayStation 4 Pro patch. Weighing in at 3.6GB, the update brings 4K resolution support and HDR compatibility to the superhero release.

This is just one of many "older" titles that's being updated to take advantage of Sony's new console, and with all of the lighting effects, we reckon that it's going to really pop with HDR enabled. Remember, you'll be able to take advantage of the contrast enhancing feature with any PS4, though you will need the supercharged system to enable the title's 4K resolution.

Where's my successor to "Second Son" Sucker Punch?

Loved it and First Light, need more as been years now.

It's official, and it's great news.  Second Son is what I consider my personal flagship title of the Ps4 when I finally get one to play this game.  Loved the first two.

Be careful what you ask for... PSX is around the corner.

Although, it may be a new ip. Since Spiderman is kinda similar to Infamous, they may have started a new IP. 

Really liked this game a bit repetitive but fun as hell even with that formula.

Very cool. It still looks amazing to this day. It says 4k support but I'm assuming it is via checker-board uprendering?

I wonder how HDR will look when outputted in 1080p though, it will be one hell of a job for my tv to upscale that image correctly.
