I'm going to make a couple of predictions in this thread and hopefully I'll be proven right in the future.
First of all, my predictions stand or fall with the the rumour that the joy-con controllers of the Switch include an IR-pointer. I think it would be a mistake from Nintendo not to add this. More control options can only be a good thing and I doubt adding an IR-pointer and accelerometer to these controllers will add much to the manufacturing costs of the Nintendo Switch.
Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2

A remaster of Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 for $60 could make a lot of extra money for Nintendo. Take a look at the video above to see how beautiful the game looks in 1080P. It doesn't look out-dated at all and the textures haven't even been touched. They could also market the fact that these games can now be enjoyed on the go.
Metroid Prime Trilogy

Nintendo needs some hardcore games to diversify their line-up. They also need to regain the favour of long-standing Metroid fans after the horrendous Metroid Prime: Federation Force. It would also be a good way for Nintendo to gauge how much interest there still is for the Metroid franchise. Just look at how good Metroid Prime 2 looks in 1080P! Despite being a GC game it doesn't look out-dated and could easily pass for a modern game. Only a slight texture update would be needed. So again, this would be a very easy remaster for Nintendo to do and it would diversify their line-up. They need to show the world that they're more than just a gaming company that makes "kiddy" games (an erronous believe, but one that still persists to this day). 3 beautiful classics at the price of $60 would be a steal!
Pokkén Tournament

My third prediction is an enhanced port of Pokkémon Tournament. Nintendo could just release the arcade version which has more characters and better graphics than the Wii U version. There are also many Pokémon fans who only owned a 3DS, so when they make the switch this will be like a brand new game for them. They could market the portability of Pokkén Tournament to make it stand out more. It again seems like a very easy port to do that would cost Nintendo little in resources. The arcade version has 3 characters for now that aren't on the Wii U: Darkrai, Scizor and Croagunk. More will likely be added in the future (there's room for two more characters in the selection screen). It would be a missed opportunity if these remained exclusive to the arcades. So please make an enhanced Pokkén Tournament for the Switch Nintendo!
Do you agree that Nintendo needs to release these 3 remasters on the Switch? Let me know below.
