I can definitely see them going 3rd party. But it won't be to the twins. I wouldn't be surprised if they become a exclusive partner to apple. Instead of their own consoles, they will design a line of controllers that work with iphones. This way they can work within the simple limitations of apple products, and don't have to waste billions making AAA console games that don't sell.

This math does not work. Now suddenly Zelda is the new GTA? It is popular, but if gamer were that much in love with Zelda, the WiiU would have sold 20-30 million units just because of Ocarine, NES Zelda, Link to the Past, Majora mask, Twilight princess and Windwaker, they all where in the WiiU and no one cared.

Games that are that popular are system seller. Any game that makes you think "well, if they launched in my console I would buy it" is not popular enough to move 25 million units like this journalist thinks.
