I've never played or wanted to play Skyrim. Does it have a PSVR mode?
I'm not surprised the console jump is large-ish. A shame they couldn't make a significant difference on PC. At least it isn't $60 on PC though. Picked up the Legendary Edition for $10 on some Steam sale or another and have gotten the best of everything else for free.

The upgrade isn't the problem. The price is. A slight remaster of a 5 year old game is not worth full price.
It's a noticeable difference, but not a huge one - not that it often is with simple remasters. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this was actually one of the better remasters out there. It's better but if I owned the PS3 version before, I'm not sure I'd be too interested in getting the PS4 version (for graphics anyway; mods are another issue to consider). It should be great for new players though.
I wonder if it will have any game breaking bugs? Honestly, that's what I'm most excited for with any new Bethesda game.

I haven't found anyhting yet. In fact, I've not found any glitches, freezes, bugs, or performance issues at all. No framerate dips, no long loading screens, nothing. It's...somewhat outstanding. I always said that the only problem with Skyrim in my eyes was that it had glitches and performance issues, so without them it's verging on profound. Near perfection to me.
BUT....the lack of new content or fixes is a slight bit disappointing.
As for the graphics, I do find them quite beautiful for sure, but they're nothing special. Other than the improved light and lusher fuller vegetation, I barely notice a graphical improvement. That said, the above mentiioned perormance stability and quick loading times makes me giddy inside.
My Console Library:
PS5, Switch, XSX
PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360
3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Well, that's pretty cool I must say. As for the part I bolded, replace Skyrim with Oblivion or Fallout 3, and you'd have my general opinion on those games. Unfortunately, those games ****** me badly. Fallout 3 especially. Oh boy, did that game **** me. I DID lose all my save data in Oblivion, but it was a bit easier to swallow since I was basically done everything. I haven't bought a Bethesda game since.

Said for awhile that this game was one of the most in need of a remaster given how bad it ran on Gen 7. I have not been disappointed. Solid framerate and more immersive environment are worth it plus the load times are WAY better now.
I am Iron Man
Playing on PC, I've had one CTD after 13 hours. It might be because I tried to fast travel from a spot where I can't, I'm not sure yet. Otherwise, it's been flawless. Hoping that's an outlier.
Fallout 4 is absolutely rock solid for me now so I'm hoping Skyrim is close to that.

I do plan of restarting my campaign, and getting the remaster will be worth it. But like some here, I'll be waiting for a price drop.
