Well as Switch run BotW as we know there is no reason it can't run the ps4 version off the game. So if they port the 3ds version imo that's not good.

when did they say it would be different?
it would be funny if its just a remastered 3DS version with the 3D viewpoint in dock mode and the 2D viewpoint in handheld mode. |

| Soundwave said: Probably a version that has to be built mostly from the ground up, similar graphics to the PS4 version but downgraded in several areas. Kinda like say MGSV on PS4/XB1/PC vs MGSV on 360/PS3. |
MGSV on last gen consoles got lucky when the current gen versions were using most of it's power to maintain 60FPS + higher resolutions aside from other graphical enhancements ...
Best case scenario that the switch would get a down port from the UE4 version would be is if the initial game is running at 60FPS on the PS4 ...
It's bad enough that SHIELD CONSOLE is struggling with last gen ports when the the more portable lower clocked tegra chipset variants don't have much breathing room ...
My guess is that it will be a port of the PS4 version. But since the ultra low power ARM CPU of the switch is much slower than the already very slow x86-64 PS4 CPU-part of the APU, it might get downgraded or has to be heavily modified.
Think of it like a PC game
PS4 is High settings at 1080p
NS is Medium settings at 720p
Or something like that.
