Which CPU will be enough for good VR?

i5 6400 0 0%

It's too bad you ruled out the i5 6600K since I think that's the best value if you factor in overclocking (I run that thing overclocked to 4.5GHz!) but if your not considering it then I think your best option so far is the i5 6600 provided you get it at that price ...

i5 6600 is final then.

So, to make it clear, an i5 6600 is very powerful and enough for VR games, right?

I'm going with that one then. Thank you everyone for answering.

Yes but technically, the VR requirements have changed to an i3 + 960

But that is a minimum so... You are much better off with an i5

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Oh, so now, suddenly, an i3 is enough?

That's awesome. Now I'm pretty sure my i5 6600 will be a very worthy purchase. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, the i7 is like... The double of the price of an i5. And I'm not sure if it's worthy it.
