He'll be first in line in his town to get his hands on a switch. But seriously though, Nintendo does need to get with the times with online stores.
BING!
1) Feel bad for him.
Wii failed him, and he got a replacement without getting his games back (lost 220$ in software).
Same thing with his 3DS's (he had 3) (286$ software) + a Wii U (1000$ lost), all tied to same account, digital only user.
Hes had a very bad time, with nintendo hardware, and I can understand why he wont get a switch. His trust of Nintendo is just not there.
2) Hes wrong about advocateing that nintendo should make their systems easier to hack.
Saying thats why the vita failed? what?

A lot of people think the PSP was mostly so popular because of easy piracy. It's true to an extent, but making it harder to hack is not the Vita's biggest problem by a longshot.

psp was only big because it was a media device. then along come the smart phone and I had no need for another device to play music and videos in my pocket.

I believe the biggest problem was the memory cards. They're too expensive.

That's a big problem, but really, Monster Hunter getting poached at such a critical time was probably the single biggest thing. I think that had a cascading effect on other publishers not supporting Vita with big titles.
And their launch window line-up was stupidly western-focused, too.
1) Nintendo doesn't delete your account for inactivity. I haven't logged in for years at one point with an old Nintendo Account (pre-NNID) and it was still there.
2) I had a Wii replaced due to bad GPU in 2007 and my content was moved.
3) This guy is actually very annoying.
4) Nintendo won't be an Android OS. Though it may be based on Android much like Amazon Fire products are based on Android. It will still be something built by Nintendo for too many reasons to spell out.
5) Yeah Nintendo's first digital account was dumb as hell. I'm glad with WiiU and now 3DS its a single account, even if still tied to console. Though I am certain they'll have it tied to account as NS launches and then going forward. I hope that also includes BC for content such as VC which should work across any device.
I've sent my Wii in for repair, and a couple of 3DSs. Never had an issue with the games being restored. Nintendo's customer service has always been good in my experience.
