Forums - Sales - Titanfall 2 Sales Will Be "Substantially Disappointing," Analyst Says

Titanfall was great. Titanfall 2 also appears to be great but WHY IN THE NAME OF FUCK didn't they wait to release this when it could have the market to itself? This should have been an April release. Now it's up against Gears, Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc.

Bad timing. My brain can't adjust to playing 2 shooters at the same time. Therefore .if I want to become any good. I can only play 1 FPS per season, and BF1 is king.

Unfortunately I agree, even though this will be leagues better than the last game.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Isnt 5-6 millions already much better than what the first one did?
I dont really see the devs complaining.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

First one apparently did 7million+.

Which this one will eventually do, too. And maybe EA is fine with that. Maybe they just want to cut out as many CoD sales as possible.

Hate to sound like a hater (I'm gonna do so anyway) but I long for the days of the demise of FPS and the return of prominent RPGs.

Tbh I want toi see way more RTS games than TBS, but I don't wish death on the genre. We've been getting quite a lot of RPG games, not all with real time combat mind you.

OT: It was bound to happen. Releasing anotehr AAA shooter in a month where two known big AAA shooters are reelasing wasn't the best idea they had. They should have released during Dec or even Jan, especially since shooter hype tends to die down after a month or two (people still keep playing though).

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Well he wasn't wrong
